Poetry: Pond’s Idyll

Fog floating
faintly clutching
roaming

black glass
unmoving
unreflecting

silence hovering
secretly hiding
silently

Summer pond’s
secret soliloquy
is hidden

Collapsing fog
retreating
marching slowly

sun glancing
shining
on glass thinly

sudden sounds
raising the din
softly

Faintly
fog fading
burning away

glass
softly shimmering
shiny rippling

birds bursting
bravely
chirping singing

Summer pond’s
idyll
meandering is written.

Poetry: Candy Land

Cotton candy clouds
drop
Cream soda rain
onto
the vanilla fudge ground.

And twizzler trees
without
Maple cookie leaves
stretch
through powdered sugar fog.

As toffee puddles
flow
Gingerbread houses
glow
from their butterscotch lights.

My Photography: Salute

The flag just looks so damn cool in this picture.  And, although it is tiny in relation to the tree and the sky and stars, it’s the focal point of my picture.

My Photography: In The Shot

In The Shot

If you look closely you can see me taking this shot.  I can’t wait to get a real camera to minimize reflections.  I was inside the building.  Next time I will be outside the building lol.

Poetry: Elements Easing

When swift wind is blowing
and birds free breeze the dale
my hopeless heart is lightened
gone the gloomy gale.

When sweet child is playing
and laughs full loud with glee
my mirthless mind is gladdened
gone the sorrowed sea.

When mauve moon is rising
and stars shine through the night
my shadowed soul is brightened
gone the bleary blight.
