Reblog: Happiness v/s Sadness..who wins??

This woman writes about something important and meaningful for those of us were/are there. Oh, and her writing is superb.

The other day, while talking to my mother-in-law, she told me “dear, you have been living in isolation at home for the past 6 months, you must make phone calls and talk to people more often. Call your friends, cousins..just talk to them regularly about anything that’s bothering you and which you can’t discuss with […]

Happiness v/s Sadness..who wins??

Poetry: Candy Land

Cotton candy clouds
drop
Cream soda rain
onto
the vanilla fudge ground.

And twizzler trees
without
Maple cookie leaves
stretch
through powdered sugar fog.

As toffee puddles
flow
Gingerbread houses
glow
from their butterscotch lights.

Poetry: Butterflies Drift

Butterflies drift
before a man
before
the
dawning night.

Clouds retreating
beyond the veil
beyond
a
setting sun.

Ruminate long
within this space
within
this
sober sight.

Poetry: The Sum Of These

There are days
meant for living
and there are those
that are unforgiving.

Dreams can soar
and fly so high
and they can fall
and wither and die.

Life can be easy
a joy to feel
or feed you poison
and make you reel.

Loving can be
a precious thing
or all your blood
from you wring.

The sum of these
can happiness make
or punch you out
and make you break.
