Chakra Balancing And Clearing On Miraculousendeavors.org

Understanding the location of your chakras and visualizing their presence within your body will greatly enhance the ability of you to balance and clear your chakras with very little effort.  Within a few sessions you will be amazed how differently you feel as you go about your day!

The full benefits of chakra energy healing is simply amazing when all seven major chakras are balanced.  Our intent in this chakra clearing meditation is to open the chakras (if too closed), clearing chakras of negative energy by transforming to positive, and balancing the energy of all the 7 chakras.

7 chakrasIt is important to understand not to obsess over right way / wrong way, too open / too closed, too fast/too slow, too negative/too positive. Just focus on your ability to balance the chakra system to its optimum healing potential FOR YOU.

When visualizing your chakras and their condition, your first instinct is the correct one. Don’t second guess yourself. Have faith in your ability to do this and allow your intent to accomplish perfect chakra balance for you.

Now that you have completed the preparation exercise, let’s begin with the chakra balancing meditation and how to use chakra visualization:

ROOT CHAKRA

Direct your attention to your Root Chakra located at the base of your spine.  Visualize a spinning Red disk about the size of your hand.  This chakra contains the energy of stability and strength.  Envision a spiral vortex of energy coming up through the base of the spine, dissipating the energy of any worries or anxiety you have.  Take a few moments to visualize and feel this energy.

SACRAL CHAKRA

Chakra2 On Miraculous Endeavors New Age Spiritual Blog

Moving up the spine, you will now focus your mind on the sacral chakra, the second chakra located about 2 fingers below your belly button.  Visualize a spinning Orange disk about the size of your hand.  Envision a spiral vortex of orange energy flowing up from the base chakra into the sacral chakra with ease and synchronicity.  Take a few moments to visualize and feel the energy being drawn up through the earth, into your base chakra and effortlessly flowing into your sacral chakra.  Move on to the next chakra when you feel confident these to lower chakras are free-flowing, open and aligned.

SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA

We now reach the solar plexus chakra located about 2 fingers above your belly button. Visualize a brilliant yellow spinning disk about the size of your hand. Further envision the spiral vortex of healing energy flowing up from the earth through the (red) root chakra, through the (orange) sacral chakra and into the (yellow) solar plexus chakra. Take a few moments to focus on how these chakras are delivering healing energy to entire lower half of your body. When you feel balance, proceed.

HEART CHAKRA

Miraculous Endeavors New Age Blog New Age Music Online Store

Moving on to the heart chakra, we now visualize a spinning emerald-green disk, the size of your hand, located in the center of your chest.  The heart chakra is particularly important because it is the gateway from the lower chakras (or earthly energies) into the higher self or higher state of consciousness and being.  Visualize the spiral vortex of energy feeding and spinning your heart chakra.

Be mindful not to allow the heart chakra to be too large or too small, it should be about the size of your hand. This is important as all your chakras should be the same size and be synchronized to work together.  If your heart chakra is too open or completely closed, this will create a great disturbance in your physical, mental/emotional and spiritual well-being. That said, spend a few minutes visualizing all 4 chakras working together with the vortex of healing energy.

THROAT CHAKRA

chakra5

We now reach the throat chakra (the location is self-explanatory 😉 ).  Throat chakra healing is particularly important in those too scared to communicate, or talk too much and never listen. Visualize a brilliant blue disk about the size of your hand spinning in the center of the throat area.  Allow the spiral vortex to move upward from the heart and now feeding the movement of the spinning chakra.  You know the drill by now!  Take a moment to visualize all chakras working together in harmony.

3RD EYE CHAKRA

chakra6

The 3rd eye chakra is located between your eyebrows in the center of the forehead. Visualize a spinning indigo disk about the size of your hand rotating in the center of your forehead. The health of the 3rd eye chakra is critical in spiritual development and it is considered the center of all psychic capabilities, intuition and is said to be the window to the soul. Take a few minutes to visualize a healthy 3rd eye chakra and allow the spiral vortex of healing energy to flow through your brow chakra.  When you feel comfortable, move on to the Crown Chakra.

CROWN CHAKRA

chakra7

The crown chakra is located at the top of your head and is associated with the color violet. Just as our root chakra connects and grounds us to the earth, the crown chakra connects us to the divine, or heavens (whatever your reference may be).  Now envision a spinning violet disk at the top of your head and allow the vortex energy to fill the crown chakra with healing light and clearing away any negative or dark energies.

From there allow the energy to flow out the crown, creating a continuous flow of energy from the earth connecting to the divine.  As you can see by now, the energy vortex has no beginning and no end. You are allowing it’s continuous flow to travel through your chakras and body, creating peace and balance.  Spend as much time as you feel necessary to complete this final step.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Chakra Harmony on Miraculous Endeavors WordPress Blog

Now take a final moment to focus and visualize all your chakras rotating in harmony. Envision the beauty and brilliance of the chakra colors in each location along your spine.  In your mind’s eye, observe the healing energy vortex entering your root chakra from the earth’s energy, as it travels up through each chakra and finally exiting out the crown.

Envision this continuous flow of energy restoring each chakra to their optimal state of health. In your mind’s eye, surround yourself with a protective bubble’s energy.  This bubble will retain healing energy and deflect any negative energy you may encounter throughout your day.

Chakra energy healing is powerful! Nothing compares to the incredible feeling of clearing chakras free flowing energy.  This chakra balancing meditation is a mental exercise but you should be feeling the physical effects within the next 20 minutes, if not immediately.

Take one final deep breath and fill your lungs with rich oxygen, and voila! You are done! You should feel refreshed, balanced and calm.

Chakras: A Brief Summary

Chakra Chart Summary Of  Your Chakras

The word chakra is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning wheel. If we were able to see the chakras (as many psychics, in fact, do) we would observe a wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating.

Clairvoyants perceive chakras as colorful wheels or flowers with a hub in the center. The chakras begin at the base of the spine and finish at the top of the head. Though fixed in the central spinal column they are located on both the front and back of the body, and work through it.

Each chakra vibrates or rotates at a different speed. The root or first chakra rotates at the slowest speed, the crown or seventh chakra at the highest speed. Each chakra is stimulated by its own and complimentary color, and a range of gemstones for specific uses. The chakra colors are of the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The size and brightness of the wheels vary with individual development, physical condition, energy levels, disease, or stress.

If the chakras are not balanced, or if the energies are blocked, the basic life force will be slowed down. The individual may feel listless, tired, out of sorts, or depressed. Not only will physical bodily functions be affected so diseases may manifest, but the thought processes and the mind may also be affected. A negative attitude, fear, doubt, etc. may preoccupy the individual.

First Time Reiki: What To Expect

reikihealing on justruminating men's blog

In a typical whole-body Reiki treatment, the practitioner asks the recipient to lie down, usually on a massage table, and relax. Loose, comfortable clothing is usually worn during the treatment.

The practitioner might take a few moments to enter a calm or meditative state of mind and mentally prepare for the treatment, that is usually carried out without any unnecessary talking.

The treatment proceeds with the practitioner placing their hands on the recipient in various positions. However, practitioners may use a non-touching technique, where the hands are held a few centimeters away from the recipient’s body, for some or all of the positions.

The hands are usually kept still for 3 to 5 minutes before moving to the next position. Overall, the hand positions usually give a general coverage of the head, the front and back of the torso, the knees and feet. Between 12 and 20 positions are used, with the whole treatment lasting 45 to 90 minutes.

Some practitioners use a fixed set of hand positions. Others use their intuition to guide them as to where treatment is needed, sometimes starting the treatment with a “scan” of the recipient to find such areas. The intuitive approach might also lead to individual positions being treated for much shorter or longer periods of time.

It is reported that the recipient often feels warmth or tingling in the area being treated, even when a non-touching approach is being used. A state of deep relaxation, combined with a general feeling of well-being, is usually the most noticeable immediate effect of the treatment,, although emotional releases can also occur.

A series of three or more treatments, typically at intervals of 1 to 7 days, is usually recommended if a chronic condition is being addressed. Regular treatments, on an on-going basis, can be used with the aim of maintaining well-being. The interval between such treatments is typically in the range of 1 to 4 weeks, except in the case of self-treatment when a daily practice is common.

Introduction To Reiki

reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is said to emanate from divine source, regulated by divine intelligence, and it is this universal intelligence of life-force energy which knows infinitely more than our conscious ego selves, and how to work. This Japanese word is derived from rei meaning “free passage” or “Higher Intelligence,” and Ki, meaning “life force energy” (the equivalent of “Chi” in Chinese).

The Human Energy System

We are alive because our life force energy, or Ki, is flowing through us. Ki flows around us in an energy field called the aura, through the energy centers of our system called chakras, and within the physical body through pathways called meridians.

The Aura

The human aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds the physical body. Have you ever had someone get too close to you that you did not want to be there? It is uncomfortable, and we say “they are in my space”. They are in your aura. It is divided into seven layers and normally extends two to three feet out from the body. Many people believe that all illness begins first in the aura and may exist there for many years before reaching the physical body. Any blockage or imbalance in the energy of the aura may eventually lead to physical, emotional or mental illness.

The Chakras

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel”. There are seven main charkas in the human energy system. They spin in a clockwise motion, like a vortex or funnel, emanating out both the front and back of our bodies. They have been recognized by native cultures all over the world for thousands of years. Chakras send energy out from the core of the body, and they assimilate energy from outside that enters the core. Chakras can be open or closed, excessive or deficient, or any of the various stages in between. The fundamental theory of the Chakra System is that the chakras need to be in balance with each other. There should be an even flow of energy through all of the chakras, neither favoring nor avoiding any particular one. Any imbalance in one end of the system is likely to create an imbalance in the other.

The Meridans

Ki circulates within the physical body along meridians, similar to the blood, nerve and lymphatic circuits. The meridians control the workings of the main organs and systems of the body. For each organ to maintain a perfect state of health, the Ki energy must be able to flow freely along the meridian.

Path To Healing

Reiki is both a path to awareness and openness to the divine, but also a path for healing and wholeness of the Human Energy System. It represents a form of spiritual healing that involves the transfer of universal life energy from the practitioner to the recipient. By opening a path to one’s spiritual source, the energy in your body is corrected and adjusted to a healthy state.

In order for Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for his or her healing and take part in it. A sense of peace and well-being enables you to make healthy changes in your life. Reiki is administered by “laying on hands” and uses specific techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. When a life force energy is low or out of balance, a person is susceptible to sickness and/or stress; if a life energy force is high, a person is apt to be happy and healthy.

reiki healing on justruminating men's blog

While most western medicine focuses on the symptoms of disease, or the effects of energetic imbalances, energy healing addresses the root causes, going directly to what is creating the disease, stress and discomfort. Therefore, Reiki harmonizes on all levels: body, mind and spirit.

Reiki addresses the whole person, encouraging the release of all tension, stress, panic-attacks, negative-thinking, repressed negative thoughts, sadness, depression, fear, anger and anxiety, effectively restoring emotional balance, peace and vitality. Reiki also provides effective pain relief from acute conditions, although relief from some chronic conditions may take longer. Any time a condition becomes chronic, the entire body is involved in the healing process on all levels.

Treatments may be given sitting in a chair or lying on a table, while the client remains fully clothed. Treatments often feel like a wonderful loving, glowing radiance that flows through and around the client. What one experiences from a Reiki treatment can vary from person to person, but whatever the experience, at it’s simplest level, deep relaxation is usually felt by all, leaving one feeling refreshed, feeling lighter, and having a more positive balanced outlook on life.

Reiki is the energy of love. Reiki is unconditional love, healing and acceptance. Reiki is seeing the divine in all. Reiki may enhance your own personal beliefs. And while the Reiki ideals are similar to the golden rule, and the concept of loving/honoring thy neighbor as thyself, Reiki is *not* a religion. It merely holds to the universal ideals that promote peace and harmony in ourselves, with others and with mother earth. Reiki is healing that is restorative balance and good health.

Having a holistic health check up is somewhat different from having a physical by a healthcare provider when your pulse is taken and a tongue depressor is stuck inside your mouth.  Holistic care involves evaluating and nurturing all aspects of our bodies, not the physical body alone.

Here are important questions for you to ask yourself and also to use as a guide enabling you to evaluate how in-balance your mind-body-spirit is. Included are some wellness resource links that offer avenues you can take and tools you can use to help to align yourself with optimal wellness.

1) Are Your Chakras in Alignment?

Chakra Balancing on on justruminating men's blog

Our chakras are our energy centers (vortexes) that are the openings for life energy to flow through. When they are blocked or closed we are functioning at a lower level than is desirable.

2) Are You Breathing Properly? Say Ahhhh!

Breathing Meditation on justruminating men's blog Probably one of the most common mistake people make is withholding breath. There are far too many shallow breathers on the planet. Training yourself how to breathe properly is very important!

3) Are Your Aura Colors Glowing Brightly or Murkish Gray?

Auras Need Love on on justruminating men's blog
Our auras are like magnets picking up vibrational energies that are floating around everywhere we go. It is important to cleanse our auras frequently to free them of foreign vibrations and negative energies.

4) How Deeply Rooted Are You?

We Are The Earth on on justruminating men's blog
When our spirits choose to incarnate into a human body it is understood that we are to respect and honor this outer garment we wear. There is much information and learning that can be accessed from our Earth energies when we grow our roots. Dig in and reach downward!

5) Are You Staying Within Your Own Energetic Boundaries?

Harness Your Spiritual Energy On on justruminating men's blog
You will experience conflict within your “self” if you become confused by merging your own energies with energies of others. Make sure the emotions you are feeling belong to you.

6) Are You Tending To Your Physical Needs?

Physical Needs On on justruminating men's blog
I should stop bringing ups new topics and build this section of our blog as it is completely near and dear to mine and Karin’s hearts.  We avidly workout and eat well, and it has impacted our lives in so many ways.

Fitness and nutrition have been a huge part of my life-off an on since I went to college and got my hands on the Gold's Gym Training Encyclopedia on justruminating men's blogGold’s Gym Training Encyclopedia.  The fundamentals I learned from that book are largely still applicable today.  And I still do those basic exercises every time I workout!

Sadly, as I was going through our blog to link to some fitness and nutrition articles I found I hadn’t written any!  So, I will be building a thorough library on this area.  There is so much mis-information, complicated this and that’s.

I guarantee we will help you sift this plethora of garbage information and get to the meat and potatoes of eating right and exercising, no matter your fitness level, age, or condition!  First lesson:  “Diet” is a word that no longer exists…

7) Do You Allow Yourself Time/Space To Recoup Spent Energies?

Private Idaho on justruminating men's blog
It is far too easy to get wrapped up in day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, forgetting to take care of yourself. Choose from a variety of practices that can easily be incorporated a few minutes each day to bring about inner peace and contentment. Here are a few suggestions.

Obviously this physical would never supersede any medical treatments you are currently undergoing.  But I guarantee you one thing, apply these principles with 100% commitment, you might be surprised the next time you go for an actual physical.

The changes will startle you!  (just one example for myself:  my bp when I started this new journey in December of 2012 was 158/110!  I just had it checked on Monday:  11/80!

Using the list 1-7 above, make a questionnaire for yourself, then put a check mark next to each topic as to whether you take an active role in that wellness function or not.  Avoid the last box!  The graphic is there for you to ponder, not to extend any negative energy field to you whatsoever.  We learn TWICE AS MUCH when we SEE as we do when we HEAR!

Holistic Checklist on justruminating men's blog

The path to Holistic Wellness starts and ends right at the edge of your big toe.  Take the first step and work through your physical and strive to incorporate as many of these principles as you can each and everyday.  And if you are actively involved in your own holistic health, way to go!  Now go find someone to share your wellness with.  Your body will thank you, your mind will thank you, your soul will thank you, and if you reach out to someone else, THEY will thank you!
