Poetry: In That Silence

Poetry I have written for my wife, Rebecca. Presented for the first time anywhere. Visit her blog at My Faces of Life.
I fixed my gaze
I fixed my stare
toward this girl
just standing there.
She was alone
she was a dream
her look forlorn
so it would seem.
I took a stroll
I took a chance
I went for her
I met her glance.
And all at once
the clouds blew by
the moon came out
of the darkened sky.
And side by side
a trance took hold
and in that silence
our truth was told.
breathtaking!
Thank you Cindy, that means a lot. For my poetry to make sense for another, that they may leave the better for it.
