My Daily Song: Elvis Presley

The most beautiful rendition of Glory Glory Hallelujah you will ever find. I still get goosebumps after listening to this God knows how many times.

And I love Elvis so much during this time period. I don’t describe people as living Angels often, if ever, Elvis was a living Angel.

Glory Glory Hallelujah

Oh I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland

(Oh I wish I was in Dixie, away, away)
(In Dixieland I take my stand to live and die in Dixie)

For in Dixieland, I was born
Early Lord one frosty morning
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland

Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
His truth is marching on

So hush little baby
Don’t you cry
You know your daddy’s bound to die
But all my trials Lord, will soon be over

Glory, glory, hallelujah
His truth is marching on
His truth is marching on

      1. He’s sleeping right now, when he wakes up, I’m going to ask him if he read your post. Lol…. Btw…. when I was pregnant with the girls, he’d sing Elvis songs to my belly. He’s really quite a good Elvis impersonator. Does the whole lip curl and everything! Lol…. πŸ˜€
