Another Kind Of Love

Seep slowly into my core
it’s you I desperately adore
filling my soul with wonder.

Suffocate me on this night
ominous mist of dark delight
deep trance I’ve fallen under.

Slowly blind me with your lies
so surely sweet intention dies
this mind is cast asunder.

Does this truly thus portend
an aching dying sorry end?
your spell I’ve fallen under.

Thus my promise laid to waste
surely chasing illusions taste
this love casts hope asunder.

This lying loveΒ screams disdain
echoes loudly her death refrain
torments my soul with wonder.

                  1. Thanks for the direction. I’m still figuring out WordPress. I never would have found that comment. πŸ˜‰ Just another sign our brains mesh well.
My reply to your comment :
I am honestly surprised that I allowed myself to be so truthful. I guess I could have taken it way further, but to start that was enough. I’m so tired of this layer of fake shit when it comes to intimacy. (Into me you see) So I allowed myself to be seen. I look forward to your story on the subject. It’s nice to meet you !!!

      1. Haha, duly corrected. I won’t try to give my opinion again, haha!
You might enjoy this, if you haven’t seen it? πŸ™‚ I hope you do. Your poem reminds me of it, but I’m probably wrong about this, too, haha.

        Take care.

        1. I wasn’t being sarcastic. I disguised it like a poem about a love, which drugs can be like. You know what I mean? Hey, I asked you to invite me to your blog. I can’t see your stuff.

        1. Then I think you will really like “Love’s Conundrum.” You don’t have to read it now, but I wrote this poem about the duality of love…with a twist in the last stanza. Thanks for spending some time…
